Dan and Javoni Martin

Our RV is a 2005 RoadTrek 210 Popular, we started our adventure in July 2005 with our first trip being to Cedar Key, Florida. While this is our first RV we had a 32 foot Irwin Sailboat for about 12 years and were accustom to living in confined spaces. We are very happy with our 21 ft Class B motor home.

Dan:

Worked as an Engineer with AT&T Mobility. My history includes service in the US Navy during the 60's, work on the Missile test range in the late 60 early 70's. During the mid 70's and 80's worked may communications projects around the world.

1990 to current employed by Bellsouth Mobility, Cingular Wireless and now AT&T Mobility as a RF Engineer.

November 2008 retired from AT&T after 18 plus years.

Ham radio call KC4GO for the past 25 years with periods of inactivity. Currently my main activity is limited to Mobile  HF using a Kenwood TS-480SAT, SGC 230 tuner & SGC Whip.

A Kenwood TM-D700A with GPS and a laptop running APRSPoint complete the VHF/UHF and APRS station on the RV.

Javoni:

Worked a 20+ year career at BellSouth as a directory assistance operator and manager of operator services. Turned mother (adopted grand daughter from my first marriage) home schooled daughter and and keeps me from spending to much money on Ham Radio and other toys. Over our 34+ years of marriage we have had a 32 ft Sailboat and Airplane and have participated in other activities. Now have a 2 year old Great Grand Daughter that we took to North Carolina in the RT and had a great time.
